This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Code Crafted Nexus LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("Company"), for the use of PromptSmith. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PromptSmith for your own personal or internal business use. Without a license key, the app runs as a free 7-day trial with all features; when the trial ends, the app is locked until a license key is entered. Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual license, with no subscription and no expiration, to activate PromptSmith on up to three (3) Windows, Mac or Android devices that you own or control. To move a license, deactivate the old device (from the Help menu on Windows or Mac, or inside the Android app) or contact us at the email below.
You may not:
License keys are personal to the purchaser. A license key that is refunded in whole or in part, credited, or charged back is revoked, and PromptSmith stops working until a valid license key is entered, at its next license check. We may also decline to honor keys that have been shared or distributed publicly.
PromptSmith generates text prompts for use with third-party AI models. Its guardrails make made-up or inaccurate answers less likely, but cannot prevent them. The Company does not control those models and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any AI answer. You are responsible for checking any AI output you rely on, especially for medical, legal, financial, safety or other important decisions, and for complying with the terms of the AI services you use.
PromptSmith works with AI services made by other companies (for example Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity). The Company is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those companies or their products, and their names are used only to describe compatibility. Their products can change at any time, which may affect how well a prompt works.
PromptSmith keeps what you type on your computer and does not send it to us. See the PromptSmith Privacy Policy.
PromptSmith and all related software, design, and content are the exclusive property of Code Crafted Nexus LLC. All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved. The Company claims no ownership over the text you write or the prompts you create.
PromptSmith is sold as a one-time purchase through our website, processed by Paddle.com as our authorized reseller. There is no recurring billing. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase under our Refund Policy. When a refund of any kind is issued, the license key for that purchase is revoked.
The Company may release updates to PromptSmith. Updates are only installed when you choose. Your license covers reasonable updates for the same major version.
PromptSmith is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every AI model or online service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data arising from your use of or inability to use PromptSmith or from any AI output. The Company's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in this EULA limits any rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.
This EULA is effective until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and uninstall the app.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, subject to your non-waivable local consumer rights.
